After years of service as a Firefighter, Captain & EMT in the Fairbanks and North Pole communities, Captain Hamlin & his family have unfortunately experienced the devastation of losing their home and nearly all of its contents to a fire themselves.
On 7/8/16, while on duty, his home caught fire. Thankfully, his wife Megan & their four children were able to escape the house unharmed. Unfortunately, the house was destroyed and nearly all of its contents were ruined.
Although the home was insured and most expenses ought to be covered, they left the house behind with little more than the clothes on their backs. Steese VFD is starting this GoFundMe account to get what they need until insurance and all kicks in, which will greatly help cover some of these costs.

We are working on getting the adult & kids clothing sizes and will post an update once we receive that information.
