Hello. My name is Tiffany. I don’t like asking for help but I’m desperate. My baby boy, Tommy, needs to have an MRI so we can find out what is going on with him. Back in September 2021, my 13 month old son at the time had to go to the ER for what we found out was another ear infection. For the next several months and monthly ear infections, we noticed a head tilt and some eye problems. We met with an ENT who told us he had slight hearing loss and another ear infection and recommended getting him ear tubes. They told us it may fix the head tilt. We had new insurance at the time so we had to pay for the whole procedure ($2500) out of pocket in December 2021 (less than 2 months ago).

Well, it helped with the ear infections but not the head tilt or eye problems. Met with a neurologist who wanted us to go see an ophthalmologist and to get an MRI done. Unfortunately because of his age (now 18 months), he has to be sedated. Because of the new health year, our deductible is back down to $0 and the facility wants $7000 before Thursday 2/10/2022. We have to pay up front and we don’t have the funds, especially after paying for the ear tubes.
