My name is Kelby Roop and I am creating this go fund me to humbly request help from my community to support my overly proud father, David Roop, during some of the toughest times our family has seen. Many of you know my father, but for those of you who don’t, he was diagnosed in 2020 With acute liver failure and cirrhosis of the liver. His health began to decline at a very rapid rate, causing severe fatigue, muscle and limb weakness amongst other terrible symptoms. Because of this, he was forced to leave his job, as he could no longer perform as needed. Both my mother and father genuinely are the type of people to give you the shirt right off their back. I have watched them time and time again extend a helping hand to those in need, and now I’m asking for the same favor in return. Due to some specific circumstances, my parents are also currently assisting in the raising of three of their grandchildren. The financial strain has been extremely difficult, but with each passing day it has gotten harder and harder. My parents are drowning financially. Unfortunately, bills and mortgages have no sympathy towards illness and balances just keep racking up. This will also help cover the cost of the dental care he needs before able to receive a transplant.  I never thought I would be in this position three years ago. My Parents have always been the stable rock in our family but now they are in desperate need of help, but are too proud to ask for it. So I humbly come before you today asking for your help.
