Kidney Transplant

Donation protected
When you look at a person, you can't tell what's is going on it their life. You don't know the struggles they deal with everyday. Me I'm a 24 turning 25 this year, and this is a scary thing. Not because getting older is bad, but that I get kicked off my mothers health insurance when I turn 26. Now most people that's not a bad thing, but for me it is... I was diganosed with a kidney disease at age 4. They told my mom that by age 13, I would have already needed a transplant. Well they were right that I would need a transplant, but the time frame was a bit off. God gave me 20 years of health! My function of my kidneys has dropped down to 24%. My doctor has informed me that I will not be able to receive a transplant unless I get my own health insurance. They said the antirejection medicine is so high Of a cost that I would not be able to afford it after the transplant. This is the most stressful thing anyone has ever told me... she suggested I change jobs and go work at Starbucks or Costco for they give there employee benefits. I was working for the last five years at a dog grooming salon. They job was so physical and mentally straining, I would get sick quite often. i decided that working on my own schedule is the best plan, I chose my own hours, I don't have to wake up early, I do alright, but now that I am getting sicker it's getting harder to keep up the pace. I can't see me being able to work the hours that I need to make benifits from a job and I'm not strong enough to do it all alone. I don't know what I'm going to do...
