Sharon the Light

In 2013 Sharon Rausch celebrated her last holiday season with her family. In less than a month, she lost her battle with cancer. During her last month home, a group of people came together to decorate her home so her family could celebrate their time together.

In 2014, this same group decided to decorate the home of another family impacted by cancer and Sharon the Light was born.



Our mission is simple - Brighten the Night for families experiencing cancer by decorating their homes for the holiday season. As we learned from experience, this small gesture can have a profound impact on families.

We are asking your support in this mission for the 2015 holiday season. Our aim is to "Brighten the Night" for as many families experiencing cancer in the valley as we can.

Your support will allow us to purchase decorations, rent necessary equipment, provide outings for the families we serve during the decorating process, and help cover any general operating expenses.
