hi, let’s just hold our hands together to help people who are suffering from a land slide in Kerala. Wayanad has recently been struck by severe landslides triggered by heavy rains at the end of July 2024. The disaster has resulted in over 330 deaths, numerous injuries, and thousands displaced. Rescue efforts are ongoing, with multiple teams from the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and National Disaster Response Force involved. Relief camps have been set up, and various government and corporate entities are contributing to the aid efforts.

The landslides in Wayanad have resulted in approximately 9,910 people being displaced from their homes.

The aid provided for Wayanad will be used for various relief and rehabilitation efforts. This includes rescue operations, medical treatment, setting up relief camps, providing food and essential supplies, rebuilding damaged infrastructure, and supporting displaced families. Contributions from government entities, private corporations, and individuals are aimed at ensuring immediate relief and long-term recovery for those affected by the landslides.
