We are members, educators, employees and friends of the National Education Association who want to help our colleagues in this time of crisis. We are concerned about the welfare of Hawaiʻi State Teachers Association members, their students and entire school communities as they begin to recover from the destruction of their classrooms, homes and personal vehicles caused by the recent Kona-low storms.
All relief donations we receive are distributed to affected NEA State Affiliates for distribution to impacted members through their respective relief programs. NEA Member Benefits will pay any fees imposed by GoFundMe, so 100% of the money raised will go directly to supporting NEA members and their families. Funds will be withdrawn by the NEA Member Benefits Relief Fund and sent to the impacted State Affiliates.
