Hi! My name is Nick and I want my baby home where she belongs.
Cadence is now 8 years old. She hasn't had much of an opportunity to get to know her family. We get to see her 10 days over the holidays and 2 months in the summer. We have fought in the courts twice before and failed because "she has always been with her mother". This time is different... we are worried about her well being.
In the past eight years, Cadence has moved from Urbana, OH to Fort Riley, Kansas, to El Paso, TX, and now to Las Vegas. She was pulled out of school in the middle of the school year and is now out of contact with everyone.
We have run ourselves dry with the past two court battles and, unfortunately, have found ourselves in a place where we had to settle because we were out of money.
She has a family that loves her, a stable home and good schools right here. We just need a chance to be heard. We got a good/inexpensive lawyer to try to make this time different, but we fear that we can't win without the dollars to support it until the end.
