Hey, I'm Kim and this little guy here is Link.

Last Thursday night 22/01/2026 Link was taken to the emergency vet after he was lethargic, wobbly on his feet and refused to eat all day. Since then he has been in and out of vet clinics to try to figure out what's wrong and how to help him. So far the vets aren't sure what's going on, our suspicions are either FIP, a bone marrow disease, a severe infection or cancer. Yesterday 28/01/2026 he underwent chest X-rays and an abdominal ultrasound, they found fluid in his abdomen and have sent off samples to hopefully find out the cause. Link has already had a rough 12 months prior to this, having multiple dentals, ultrasounds and treatments which has dried up the savings I keep for rainy days like these and now without work, I'm really struggling. I have already used the money put aside for rent, bills, groceries and my other cat's medications to be able to afford Link's medications and I'm scared I won't be able to treat him further if he requires more testing or treatments. Link was born with FIV and survived FIP back in 2022, he has fought so hard for so long and I refuse to give up on him.

I understand how difficult the cost of living is at the moment, any small amount is greatly appreciated and if you can't donate, please share his story so that maybe someone else can.

Any funds raised will immediately go towards his current unpaid vet bills and any further medication or treatment he may need. The current goal is $7000, this could change depending on his test results and further treatment.
