HSHS Recording and Broadcasting Club Fundraiser

Help Hinsdale South's Recording and Broadcasting Club build its podcasting studio!

Hinsdale South's newest club, the Recording and Broadcasting Club, aims to provide students with the equipment and environment to create a variety of audio-based art, ranging from music to podcasts and radio shows. Through seminars, one on one sessions, and other tools, students will be able to express themselves through art forms that were previously inaccessible to them. Recording and Broadcasting fills a unique yet in-demand gap in the Hinsdale South Community, providing both artistic and journalistic resources for students to create with.

Recording and Broadcasting will be adopting the room that radio previously called home at South. This would entail clearing out the current space, installing new furniture, installing new recording equipment, and optimizing it for video recording.

The renovations would be split into two parts: a recording room and a broadcasting room. The first round of funding would go towards renovating the broadcasting room, which would cost approximately $5000. This will be split between local grants as well as public fundraising.

Students from many different backgrounds and ages are eager to get into the studios and start working. Please consider donating to help us achieve our goals!
