HSHR’s Lacey Operation
Donation protected
Firstly, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who generously donated towards Lacey's bone scan. We are relieved to share that she is now settled at home. The extensive scan, covering half her body, revealed concerns in four areas. After further x-rays, we found that three of these areas were fine. However, the third area pinpointed the cause of Lacey's lameness—a cyst on her stifle.
While we are grateful to have identified the problem, the next step is surgery to relieve her discomfort. As you can imagine, surgery is costly, and we are looking at a quote of £2,500 from the skilled surgeon at Endells Equine Hospital. We have scheduled the surgery for next Friday.
Once again, we humbly ask for your help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring us closer to getting Lacey the surgery she desperately needs. Our goal is to see her comfortable, pain-free, and on the path to recovery so she can enjoy a full, active life once more.
Thank you for your kindness and support. Let’s get Lacey back on her feet and living her best life.
