Dylan was a devoted Marine, a loving husband, and the world to his 3 year old son but a hidden battle with PTSD took him from us far too soon.

Dylan wasn’t just ‘Daddy’ to Declan he was the best daddy anyone could imagine. Being a father meant everything to him. Declan was his whole world, and Dylan was his knight in shining armor. The bond they shared was truly one of a kind like two peas in a pod.

Dylan was also a devoted son, deeply loved by his family and friends, his kind and caring soul touched so many hearts. His laugh was contagious, and his love was unconditional. Dylan shared a special bond with his loyal companion, Koba, his dog and best friend, who brought joy and comfort to so many moments of his life.

Dylan and his wife, Erin, were partners in crime—being there for each other through life’s challenges, celebrating its joys, and building a future together. Dylan had always been Erin’s biggest supporter, guiding and encouraging her through nursing school while being by her side every step of her journey.

With this sudden and heartbreaking loss, Erin is now navigating unimaginable grief while caring for their young son and striving to maintain the stability and love they built as a family for their home and future.

We also hope Dylan’s story helps bring awareness to the reality many veterans face every day. An estimated 22 veterans die by suicide daily, a heartbreaking reminder of the invisible battles so many carry.
