We here at, Haight Street Barbershop work as independent contractors and we rely heavily on our craft to serve the needs of our clients. Due to these unforeseen circumstances we have been banned to keep our shop open, as it’s classified as non essential. The pandemic has been a huge strain to our livelihoods. The order to follow “SHELTER IN PLACE” and practice social distancing keeps us from working with any clients. Ultimately, we would rather work hard to continue to earn our business and keep our doors open. With the COVID-19 Outbreak, we don’t have that luxury nor choice to since it’s unsafe because the virus is easily transmitted. We want to keep a good name and not be that business that is known to have any bad influence to our society. We have to comply with the rest of our neighbors and come as one to fight this together.
We deeply appreciate everything you are doing to help us get through this difficult time. Your enduring love and support means so much to us. As a new business as of October 2019, this wasn’t in our plans. We had a dream, made reality and this bump in the road wasn’t anything we prepared for. As we continue to learn the business and try to strive for nothing short of greatness, we want this setback to give us a superior comeback. We’ve looked into many options but notice we as a small business, we don’t qualify for benefits that many can take advantage of. The idea was brought to our attention to start a relief fund to help us get through.
Our ask of you, at this moment in time is to continue to support us and continue to extend love and contribute to our business in any form as all donation will go towards keeping us in business and help with essential business living expenses. We are grateful barbers and your contributions to help us in this trying time will give us the strength to keep ahead of this and have a better adjustment to this new way of living as we have no guaranteed time frame when we can return back to work. No amount is too little. Anything helps! Our promise is to do our part, wash our hands, avoid anyone sick, touching our face, practice everyday actions to help prevent the spread of this respiratory disease. As soon as we’re allowed to open our doors back to the public we are eager to take care of our clients to serve the great looks you all deserve. When you support a small business you’re supporting a dream. Please help us, passionate barbers keep our dream alive. We thank you in advance.
