Support Amanda's Journey to Recovery

Anyone who has ever had the pleasure to meet my beautiful daughter, Amanda Jean Laughlin, knows that she lights up any room she ever walks into. She is always the first one to greet you with the biggest smile and the most heart-warming hug. This past weekend, Amanda suffered a tragic accident while on a snowmobile trip with her boyfriend, Alix, and her family who she loves so much. This accident resulted in a severe traumatic brain injury and has left Amanda in a medically induced coma. At this time, her road to recovery is uncertain, but not without an enormous amount of hope.
Myself and her boyfriend have made a commitment to stay by her side throughout this difficult journey she is going to be on for the coming weeks and months. Unfortunately for us, this accident happened 6 hours away from Alix and Amanda's home in Westfield, Indiana and she is at the ICU at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.
Being so far from home means that Alix and I have to stay in hotels for many weeks at the least, and unfortunately this area is a popular destination spot for many travelers. On top of that, we have to commit to keeping all of her bills maintained and are unsure of the amount of coverage her insurance will provide for such an extended stay.
Amanda is a remarkably strong woman, quick to kindness, endlessly caring about others, and loved by so so many. The moment that Amanda can grace us with her beautiful smile once again will be the brightest day for so many who love and care for her. Please help us be able to support her as best we can! Please keep Amanda in your continued prayers. Thank you all so much, and may God bless each and every one of you.
