Mike Dengler, (55) was my little brother.  I've known and loved him my whole life, and he meant the world to so many of his family and friends.  He would show up at a moments notice and be there for whatever was needed.    For me he was a constant  friend, someone to talk to or to help repair or to fix an issue I had going on with anything.  He would rally around and get family and friends to show up and help whoever and whatever needed to be done.   He was also there just for support.  He and Becky opened their heart and homes more times than I can count to family and friends who needed a meal or a place to stay.   No problem if it  was for a night or two or a year or two.   He was a teacher, and a giver and he loved his family and friends to the fullest, always thinking of everyone else first.    He would rarely take a vacation, however my husband Al and I convinced them to go to Kauai with us several years ago, and we captured the attached photos.  It was nice to see him and Becky have such a great time just getting away for a couple weeks.

He has been on a ventilator for over the past 3 weeks, but not enough oxygen makes it to his injured and swelling brain, a complication of Covid, which will  take his life at age 55.

Mike recently retired from The City of Oceanside, Streets Department and just finished building a dream pool for his family, that he was never able to use.    God has called him to Heaven at 55, and now I'd like to have his family and friends rally around his family the way he always rallied around all of us.   Becky does not have the funds or income for Mike's unexpected funeral expenses and whatever the next few months life without Mike has in store for her.  He leaves behind his beloved wife Becky, who he was with for over 30 years,  his daughters Angie and Amber, and son Robert, as well as 3 amazing grandsons ages 5, 2 &1.    Mike was also a huge lover of dogs, and he leaves 5 behind with Becky.   He will also be dearly missed by our father, Bob Dengler (84), and our middle sister Tammie, and many many nephews, nieces, family and friends.
If my brother, Mike has touched your life in any way, you've been blessed by an amazing human being.   If you feel led to help his family with any amount I would be truly grateful, as I know he would be.
He was a proud man, a loving man, and Becky will be able to take him home today, removed from all machines,  to pass away peacefully in his own home surrounded by his family.

Dearest Heavenly Father, You have a great son coming home soon.   I'm sure you have big plans for him.

Please continue to pray for the family and share this post.
Thank you all so very much from the bottom of my heart.
