Hi my name is scarlett. I am 8 years old and was starved of blood and oxygen when I was born resulting in me know having complex needs, disabilities and diagnosis as long as my moms arm!

I am non verbal and non mobile, but am very aware of what i want and don't want. I love people and like to be centre of attention.

My Mommy and daddy have helped me grow beautiful long thick hair, but as I am getting older, I don't like to have it brushed and styled. Because of being non verbal I can't tell mommy if I don't like it because it hurts or its something else.

To help me make things easier mommy and daddy have decided it may be a good idea to go for a big chop.

As my hair is so beautiful, we don't want it to just go in the bin so have decided to donate to make a wig for children wirh cancer.

On Saturday 21st March, I will be having between 10 and 11 inches cut off my beautiful locks to donate to princess trust to be made into a wig for children with cancer.
