Landon Moore family support
Donation protected
At 36 weeks pregnant my sister in law Katie Moore noticed a decrease in movement from her baby. After a few days of continually feeling him less and less she went to the doctor and was quickly sent to labor and delivery. They monitored baby and were concerned enough with his sedated state that they went in for an emergency c-section. Landon Douglas Moore was born at 9:09pm on March 28, 2016. He weighed 7 lb 6oz but was pale and lifeless. They have yet to determine exactly what had happened those last few days but we know he was born with only 1/3 the blood volume he should have had and lacked oxygen for an unknown amount of time. He was quickly transferred to Kaiser in Downey where he made some progress but is now at CHLA getting the best care possible. But in his short 8 days of life he has endured cardiac arrest twice, 4 blood transfusions, a medically induced coma, a collapsed lung, being on a ventilator and multiple seizures. But he has also had 2 amazingly strong and dedicated parents by his side. Katie and Jaret have endured the pain of a situation most of us cannot even fathom. They have an immense amount of love and support around them and numerous people praying for them and their sweet boy. I'm setting up this find to help them with loss of income (as Katie stopped working a few weeks earlier than planned), hotel accommodations so they can be as close as possible to their son, food and gas as they will likely be away from home for some time and the impending Doctor copays they will likely have for future treatment for Landon once he is able to go home. Anything helps and we appreciate so much you even considering blessing this new family. Thank you, auntie Jo
