Wheels for Mike!

Hello!
My friend and colleague, Mike Browne, needs our help! For as long as I have known Mike (about 5 years), he has been a force to reckon with, a positive force for change that is. Mike works endlessly and tirelessly at ensuring equity and social justice education is spotlighted wherever he goes. In my time knowing Mike, he has traveled north and south of Seattle advising and consulting organizations' efforts to make programmatic change through an anti-racist lens. He is one of those individuals you might ask, "how the hell do you find the time?!" For Mike, when it comes to serving people, especially BIPOC and trans communities, Mike makes time work for him.
Mike was in a car accident last week, he is fine, but his car is totaled. Mike needs his wheels to continue this work that makes us all better. And he should not have to go into debt for it.
Pre-COVID, Mike was the quintessential community engagement czar, always coordinating communities together for mutual growth. Mike could also be seen downtown at City Hall advocating for children and families of color. I once talked with Mike as he was en route from giving an anti-racist training/workshop to putting on a school function.
Like many necessary occupations that lift up the voices of marginalized communities, and that provide an essential function to humans, Mike's occupation as educator, anti-racist consultant, community engagement specialist, and more, rarely is compensated the way they should be.
Let's pull together and get Mike back on the road with one less financial worry, so he can keep fighting the good fight!
Also, this is a surprise!!!
