Hi, my name is Alyssa Unciano and I attend Rider University. I am a financially independent student who supports herself. Both my credit and my parent's were unfortunately denied, meaning I could not take out any loans to cover my expenses for tuition this semester. I am unemployed due to COVID-19 and have no other means to be able to pay for tuition. On campus I am heavily involved as I am the Vice President of Academics for Delta Phi Epsilon, a GLASS mentor for first year students, Cultural Chair for The Student Entertainment Council, and a Protegé/Diversity and Inclusion council for Gail Bierenbaum Women's Leadership Council. While balancing all these extracurricular activities, I also am interning as a Social Media Specialist for a luxury jewelry brand, Wumi Tori. I am finishing up college this year, but I do not have the financial means to finish. I am struggling to find ways to come up with money, so any dollar helps, and I greatly appreciate it.
