Hi there, my name is Annie Sherry (she/they), and I’m a trans singer-songwriter, actor, and screenwriter based in Dublin. I’m reaching out for your support to complete my very first short film, HRTeaze.
HRTeaze is a deeply personal project inspired by my own experience navigating the National Gender Service in Ireland to access Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). The journey was unnecessarily lengthy, often dehumanizing, and filled with obstacles that no one should have to endure. My goal is to shed light on the challenges trans people face in accessing healthcare, while also challenging the misinformation that surrounds trans healthcare in Ireland and around the world.
