Help Jessica and her family

Beau Rivage Residents.

As some of your already know, our front desk staff Jessica Alberto has experienced a life changing event in her family. Her husband Zack was involved in a horrific three car accident on Monday afternoon. He was driving home from work when he was hit head on by a vehicle that crossed over the roadway into his path. He suffered extensive injuries and is currently in the hospital with broken bones, a shattered pelvis, a head injury and multiple smaller injuries. He is expected to recover but will be out of commission for roughly 6 months.

Jessica will need to be home with him to care for him over the next 12 weeks. She has taken family leave to be with her husband as well as to care for their 2 small children. Jessica has only been with us here at the Beau for roughly 5 months which means she will not be receiving any pay. I thought it would be a nice idea if I organize a collection or fund raiser for Jessica and her family. I believe in taking care of people and supporting them whenever we can as needs arise.

So, I will be putting a red box up at the front desk this afternoon for anyone who wishes to donate to Jessica and her family. I have been in close contact with Jessica since Monday and her thoughts are maybe that she won't be able to come back. I would hate to see that happen. Jessica has proven to be a very valuable part of our team as I'm sure anyone who has worked with her would agree. This is a way to show our support and to help a fellow human being get through an unimaginable tough time.
