Help the Schmidts

If ever there was a man and woman that would give a stranger in need the shirt off their backs, their last dollar, their last everything, it’s is Bryan and Becky Schmidt. Right now, they are going through one of the worst things a family can go through.
Several months ago, Bryan was diagnosed with lung cancer. Further tests revealed, he needed surgery to remove half his right lung to prevent the spread. On August 21st, the news no one wants to hear was given to the. Bryan’s cancer is in the advanced stages. He will require chemotherapy following surgery recovery.
Bryan’s recovery has been one of nightmares. The surgeon had some issues during the procedure. He has experienced and still experiencing problems with breathing and has been on a ventilator. He has spent a majority of the time sedated during his stay. In addition, he is having trouble with his digestive organs. Currently, he is still in Winchester Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit.
This is the man that lives for driving tractor trailer, his wife, kids, and grandkids as well as his adopted grandkids, nieces, and nephews. He spent every day before his surgery going out of his way to ensure his kids, grandkids, wife, and even strangers had everything they needed. It is unknown if he will ever drive a tractor trailer or be able to work again. It is unknown when he will be able to leave the hospital.
Ling cancer has impacted Bryan and Becky’s life in a big way. The medical bills are in the thousands and still climbing; not to mention, the future therapy and medical bills. The household bills are coming due. The gas for Becky to travel back and forth to the hospital is expensive. Add in their daily necessities such as food, medicine, appointments, etc, this is causing a heavy burden on two of the nicest people one could ever dream to meet.
this Gofund is a way that we can help Becky with providing the things Bryan will need, paying the medical, household, and other bills, and easing some of the financial stress they are enduring.
Please take a moment to help two people who somewhere down the line have probably helped you or someone close to you.
