Medical Expenses and daily living

As some of you may know, Manuel has Lupus Nephritis. Beginning of this year he began having gastrointestinal issues. We saw 2 different GI doctors and nothing to be found. We started seeing a Rheumatologist up at Cedar’s and who was aggressive and on the right track. On September 25, I took Manuel to the hospital he was very bloated. They landed up admitting him, he had a lot of fluid in his abdomen. They drained 11.5 liters of fluid within 2 days. From there he had a new renal biopsy, Nuclear CT of liver and spine and bone marrow biopsy. Renal biopsy indicated he has Vasculitis, an additional autoimmune disease. Now to treat it. Treatment is chemo therapy, he had a treatment on October 1st. We thought he was going to get to go home soon, when he started to cough up blood. Now a Pulmonary doctor see’s him and Infectious disease doctor. We are currently in ICU and not doing well. Any donation will help with medical expenses as we exhausted out Flex spending funds, daily bills that Manuel covered and a roof over our head.
