Frank and Carol Hrbek are long time residents of Elmont.  Carol has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer., Unfortunately. They have 2 beautiful children, Samantha 18  who will be graduating from Sewanhaka  and attending Molloy College in the Fall to pursue a career in Nursing.  Nick is 15  going into 10th grade in the fall and an awesome baseball player.   With a two income family now going down to just one, times are tough to say the least, and bills are piling up. 

The money we are raising will help with funeral cost, medical bills, household bills and other bills that may come up. 

Frank & Carol both have been volunteering for our community for many years.  Not only has Frank been a  Volunteer Fireman for Engine 3 in Elmont, since he was old enough to join, Commissioner  of the  Fire Dept., , also a Cub Scout/Boy Scout leader among other community positions. Helping countless people along the way over the years.  Carol has been PTA President of Covert Avenue School and Vice President Sewanhaka High School. She also held other PTA positions, always keeping all the children's best interests and needs in mind. 

I can't imagine the pain this family is enduring during this time!
