Kristen Sasser is a three-time cancer survivor. A loving mother of two boys,  a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and dear friend. She has crushed cancer since the age of 19 and as a side effect of her treatment, developed an extreme case of Chronic Sclerotic GVHD (Graft Versus Host Disease). Only 1% of patients develop such an aggressive case and now Kristen needs our support more than ever to help her overcome this new obstacle.

The GVHD has severely impacted her health,  mobility,  and overall quality of life at home.  With the combination of the the aforementioned, times have fallen hard on the Sasser family. She is unable to walk without assistance, she is oxygen dependant, and currently unable to have a stable income source to pay for her health care, medical bills, prescriptions, and monthly living expenses (e.g. groceries, rent, utility bills, etc).

Kristen is in need of a 24hr care giver and MediCAL is unable to fulfill this need. The family is asking for your support to help with the expenses for a 24hr caregiver so she can fight this GVHD in the comfort of her home where she can be with her family. Any donation would go directly to covering her medical and monthly living expenses. Many friends and family have been asking how they can help and we believe this is the best method for support.
