My name is Islam, and I am from Gaza.
I never imagined I would reach a point where I would have to ask strangers for help, but life has become incredibly difficult. Every day has turned into a struggle to survive.
For weeks now, finding food has become almost impossible. Most days I go to sleep hungry, trying to ignore the pain in my stomach. I wake up and the first thing I feel is cold air and an empty stomach. Sometimes a small piece of bread is the only thing I eat for the whole day. Clean water is also hard to find, and I often have to choose between drinking less or saving what little I have.
The cold has become another battle. Nights are freezing, and I don’t have enough warm clothes or blankets. I try to wrap myself in whatever I can find, but the cold still reaches my bones. I am exhausted—physically and emotionally. Every day I push myself to hold on, hoping that things will get better.
I am not asking for luxury or comfort. I am only asking for the basics of life—food to stop the hunger, clean water to stay healthy, and something warm to protect me from the cold.
Your support, no matter how small, can truly save my life. Even just sharing my story helps more than you can imagine.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for caring.
