Help Mike Rea

Update: Donations are now closed, but PulsePhoenix.com still needs your help! Check out our official Gofundme Campaign!

Anyone who knows Mike Rea will tell you that he's a trustworthy, hard working guy with a great attitude.

Mike is a professional film grip/electrician by trade, and like any tradesman the equipment that he owns and brings to the job is just as important as his technical knowledge.

Unfortunately, Mike was recently the victim of a robbery. Most of his tools and his lighting package were stolen, all of which are critical for his work.

I couldn't stand by and just allow this grave injustice to happen silently to one of the most genuine, hardest working people I've ever met. I've known Mike for several years now, and have worked with him on several different projects. No hard working person deserves this, but especially not Mike Rea.

So I'm making a plea to the community: Let's help Mike out. He's a valuable member of the Arizona film community, and has shown to be selfless and committed plenty of times for several of us.  Now he needs our help. Let's get Mike working again, with this fundraiser we'll help him replace the kit that was so despicably stolen from him. Mike has no idea we're putting this together, but I think he'll find out soon enough - and naturally, he'll be against it.

But we're going to help him any way.
