Your generous gifts have gone towards Miranda’s funeral costs, expenses around her medical treatment, treats and memories for the children, some savings for their futures.…. and a box of Malteser for Miranda herself!
This fund will remain open until the end of April and any further donations will go directly towards the children's educational needs, equipment and to pay for upcoming exams.
On behalf of Miranda, Mark and their fantastic children…

For Miranda
’Twas The Night Before Friday, And All Through This House. A Stillness Has Settled, As Quiet As A Mouse.
For Tomorrow Brings Sorrow, A Deep, Aching Pain. As We Gather To Honour Miranda Again.
The Weight Of This Moment Rests Heavy And True. Yet A Promise Still Whispers And Carries Us Through.
Good Fridays Will Come, As It Did Just Last Week. When Our Saviour Bore Suffering, Humble And Meek.
A Day Filled With Darkness, With Loss And With Pain, When Hope Seems Forgotten, When Death Seems To Reign.
Good Fridays are painful.
Yet Nothing Can Sever The Souls He Made Whole:
Held Firm In His Love, Come What May, Come What Will, His Promise Remains. Unbroken, Still.
Not Trouble. Not Hardship. Not Danger. Not Sword. Nothing Can Take Us From The Love Of The Lord.
No Angels, No Demons, No Present, No Past, No Shadow Of Darkness Can Ever Hold Fast.
For Friday Is Real And The Sorrow We Feel, Like The Cross That He Carried, It Is Heavy And Real.
But Death Was Not Final, The Grave Not The End. For Christ Rose In Glory, Our Saviour And King.
Now Miranda Stands Whole, In The Light Of His Face. With A Great Cloud Of Witnesses. Filled With His Grace.
Her Name Has Been Written; Forever It Stays, In The Lamb’s Book Of Life, In Unending Days.
Because He Lives, We Know This Is True: The Promise Of Sunday Is Still Shining Through.
Death has lost its sting, and all fear is now gone. We can face the tomorrow that breaks with the dawn.
‘Miranda, My Friend, I Miss You. Happy Sunday, and to all a good night!’
6th March 2026
Hi everyone, Mark here.
Miranda went to be with the Lord at 5:25 this morning with me at her side.
A God-fearing wife and mother like no other.
Please pray for the children
Miranda is an amazing mum of five, who has recently been diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer.
Doctors have heartbreakingly told her that she has around three months left to live.
Miranda used to be a paediatric nurse before becoming a full time home educater to her children.
Her husband, Mark, has been living with a serious leg injury which has put further stress on the family.
At a time when they should be focused on spending precious moments together, they are instead facing real financial stress.
The Kelly's have five children, aged between 15 and 6, who are all home educated. The children are learning a full curiculum and all play musical instruments to form a beautiful string quintet!
These children are now facing the reality of losing their mum.
This GoFundMe has been set up to help cover essential living costs, medical and care needs, to ease the burden of funeral planning and for any other needs the family has.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help give this family some peace of mind during an incredibly painful time.
Your kindness and support will help ensure that the Kelly family can focus on love, comfort, and good time together.
Thanks,
Beth.x
