I am starting this fund for my husband Austin Wagner. About 3/2/2017 he came to me and said he couldn't see out of the top right corner of his left eye. He brushed it off in hopes it would get better, but also with him being the only income we have (as I am a stay at home mom with our almost 1 year old son), he stuck through to pay our bills. We have been married going on 5 years and have our first child. As a new growing family, daily stresses are already hard. With all the time that has now passed it is causing more problems for him and becoming increasingly painful. He was told by the doctor he has 2 options, to either have surgery to keep it from getting worse or go blind in that eye. As of right now, he has lost about 40% of his vision and it will forever stay that way even after surgery. We are trying to come up with some funds to not only pay for these appointments, treatments, surgery etc. but we will be behind on bills once he starts missing work. These funds will go towards our newly growing family for picking up the slack when he misses work, and for what our insurance will not cover. Anything at this point will help and we appreciate all who help or donate. This surgery is very urgent and needs to be done right away before it gets worse, so the sense of urgency is important. Doctors said even the slightest bump to his head can make matters much worse. All of this is currently taking place at the Eye Institute in Rapid City, SD.
