Kevin’s Recovery

Where do I begin? I guess I’ll just get right to it. Kevin and Jeri Ann came down with Covid August 26 with symptoms of loss of taste and smell. Jeri Ann experienced significant bowel issues and hard fatigue. But she kicked it relatively quickly. But, Kevin’s experience proved to be almost fatal. What started as fatigue and a couple days off work—turned into Covid-induced pneumonia, brain fog, and blood clots that developed in his leg and lungs—which were silently taking his life.

A Zpack coupled with prednisone did not help. Kevin was not getting better. Jeri Ann was able to get Kevin into the car and rushed him to the hospital Saturday September 11. Kevin’s oxygen was 77%. The staff at st Joes worked hard all day on him but he was so sick. Supervisors considered letting Jeri Ann stay the night with him—even though it was strictly forbidden due to Covid protocols—because they feared he would not survive the night. Thank God for the medical staff . After 5 days, Kevin was discharged to us about 4 hours prior to this writing. ♥️

The good news is that he’s now 25 pounds lighter and somehow his historically high blood pressures have now been cured . Joking aside, Kevin has a long road ahead full of blood thinner medication, oxygen tanks, and recovery. We’re being told it could take 6 months before he’s strong enough to work again. To make matters worse, Miller Bros. Plumbing is currently closed because owners Paul and Laurie Miller are very sick as well. Please pray for this entire situation

Kevin has a $10,000 high deductible insurance plan.

Kevin and Jeri Ann plan to sell their home and most of their possessions. An estate sale will be planned very soon so please watch out for that in the coming weeks. Also, after the house sells, they will be moving into our shop and we look forward very much to having them ♥️ 

My brother in law and sister have NEVER asked anyone for anything in their lives. They would never create a Go Fund Me page but I am humbly reaching out for help to anyone who feels a little tug on their heart ♥️❤️♥️❤️ Most of all, please pray for this situation and don’t lose your Faith
