I have been on a very long road to find a place where I belong and can finally settle down, and give my fur baby and myself the home we deserve. I have found that here in Missouri!

Being homeless since last year has actually helped me learn how strong I really am and given me an entirely new outlook on life. I have learned who my true family and friends are. I don't regret one decision I've made because it has brought me here with the amazing support from my mom and people who really care, including total strangers! With deep inspiration from my incredible mother, I have realized that I'm not just a survivor, but that survival is my superpower!!

I am on disability, which makes things like moving into an apartment very tight. After paying application fees, deposits, and first month's rent, I will not have anything left for dog food, gas, bills, expenses, or food for myself.

I have already pawned jewelry, including my high school class ring, to keep a roof over my head. I also used a very special ring as collateral to pay for $600 of repairs to my car after a bad accident last July.

Any help people can give will be extremely helpful, and I will be eternally grateful!! Thank you!!
