Support Sara's Recovery
Donation protected
I’m organizing the LMC alumni support group for Sara and her family. Can we all come together, during the 30th anniversary of our graduation, and help our fellow classmate?
Sara Gassoway McMillan tested positive for Covid 19 around April 1 and has been on a ventilator since around April 10 in Tuscon, Arizona. When she went into the ER over a month ago they told her mom she probably wouldn't make it through the night. But she has been fighting, and we have been praying, and God has been looking over her.
Today they are planning to give her her a trach. She has had numerous complications and this has been a roller coaster for her family. The latest set back is a fungal infection in her lungs diagnosed yesterday. We are hoping for a full recovery but it will be a long road full of therapy and treatment.
Sara chose to be a stay at home mom to care for her son with special needs and give him the best possible care, along with home schooling him...despite the financial strain.
Her family will be taking on a large financial burden and we are hoping to help with that.
We are asking for your help. If you can donate please do if not please share this. And please send prayers, light, good vibes, everything you can to Sara, her medical team, and her family.
