Hello family and friends,

As many of you know, my little sister Beth has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Thank you for all of your support - she has been overwhelmed at your messages, gifts, and good vibes... and in many cases, love from people she's yet to meet. <3

I was able to visit a few weeks ago and finally get a sense of how she’s doing. She has powered through surgery and some complications in healing. Radiation began on the 24th and continues thru August 12th. The effects will build up in the body, and doctors are preparing her to be quite exhausted in the weeks after treatment ends. She lives alone and plans to continue working as she’s able while she moves through this piece.

I would love to take the cooking and cleaning off of her plate, so this fundraiser is to help with outside support throughout radiation and in the weeks to follow. I'm raising in Canadian dollars as this is easiest to access for her, and she doesn't know I'm doing this so thank you to my dear friend Tammy for managing funds and transfers!
