Reggie’s surgery

Hello, this is a page set up for my lovely friend Hana. Hana set up our french bulldog walking group and we have all felt amazingly welcomed and loved by Hana. We have become one big family. This is her dog Reggie, he is her whole world and we all adore him.

Reggie became unwell a few weeks ago and went in today for a spinal tap and MRI -

Reg is home, he recovered well from the MRI and Spinal tap. However, the diagnoses wasn't great. He has bilateral middle ear disease with brainstem invasion and subdural empyema meningitis.

He has to go in for surgery to remove his middle ear and surrounding tissue along with draining bacterial fluids from his brain. Its a long, risky surgery but without it, he will likely not recover and end up brain damaged or worse. This will mean he will have little to no hearing.

Hes got some anti biotics now to try and arrest it getting any worse whilst we get the funds (£7k) together for surgery next week.

This little boy is my absolutely world and I'm feeling completely lost at the mo.
