She’s Always Put Others First—Now It’s Time to Help Jessica
Asking for help is never easy—especially for someone like Jessica, who has spent her life giving so much to others. But right now, she needs us.
This incredible woman lives and breathes compassion. She's a single parent, a small business owner, a grooming educator, and a fierce advocate for animals and her community. She’s the person who always shows up—for rescue animals, for fellow fosters, for the LGBTQ+ community, and for anyone in need. Whether it’s coordinating mass spay/neuter transports, providing emergency triage, evaluating behavior, offering grooming for shelter animals, or opening her business and home as a safe haven—she does it all, without ever asking for anything in return.
She's one of the rescue community’s biggest assets, supporting everyone around her with unmatched empathy and dedication. But today, she's facing a crisis she can't solve on her own.
A hidden pipe leak in Jessica's home caused significant water damage and dangerous mold growth—quietly spreading behind the walls and into her kitchen, floors, and ceiling. By the time signs of damage appeared, the mold had already taken hold. The repairs are urgent, the costs are high, and before work can begin, extensive mold testing must be done—costing hundreds alone. On top of that, Jessica will be forced to move out of her home for an unknown amount of time while remediation is underway, adding even more stress and uncertainty.
She has some savings, but not nearly enough to cover the down payment and full scope of work. And as someone who has spent her life putting others first, asking for help like this is incredibly hard.
That’s why we’re asking for her.
If you’ve ever admired Jessica’s strength, been touched by her kindness, or witnessed the incredible work she does for animals and people alike—now is the time to give back. Every donation brings her one step closer to a safe, healthy home and the peace of mind she so deeply deserves.
Let’s come together for someone who’s always been there for others. Let’s show her that her compassion hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Thank you for your support.
