In Loving Memory of Hasiah “Buggy” Willis

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I write this in honor of my beloved nephew, Hasiah. Never did I imagine that just days after our last hug, I would be sharing this. Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our cherished Hasiah, affectionately known as “Buggy.”

Yesterday, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. We lost a beautiful soul…

a son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson, and friend. Buggy was someone who brought light and laughter wherever he went. During this incredibly difficult time, our family is asking for privacy, prayers, and any support you are able to give.

We are humbly asking for contributions to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, so we can honor Buggy in the beautiful way he deserves. Every donation will go directly to the Willis/Ellis family to assist with these arrangements.

someone who would always show up when you needed him. Quiet by nature, but his love was always loud and undeniable. He touched the hearts of so many, leaving behind memories filled with love, laughter, and light. To know him was truly to know love.

As we navigate this grief, pain, and a world without our Buggy, I ask for continued prayers for his mother Secanda, his father Dennis, his brothers Little Dennis and Jerry, his sister Lasette, best bud and cousin Jasiah, cousins Aliannah, Elijah, Vincent, Malichi, Amari, and Violet, his grandmother “Honey,” his grandpa Mr. Kim, his Grams, his uncles Alex “Papi” and Kendrick, and his aunts “Ti-Ti’s” Vanessa, Monet, and Amanda along with all other family and friends mourning his absence.
