Mike is one of the most caring and amazing people I know. He regularly opens his home to his friends and family for dinners, game nights, and other get-togethers, and helps his friends in times of need. Now Mike needs our help.

Last night, August 14th, 2025, Mike had an accident involving a table saw and sustained serious injuries to his left hand. He has multiple broken bones, destroyed tendons and nerves, and almost lost a finger, which was held on only by skin. As I write this, he is in surgery and may possibly need more. It is expected that they will be able to save all his fingers, but he will likely have permanent nerve damage and loss of mobility in his hand. He will have months of recovery ahead, physical therapy, and will not be able to work for a while.

Mike has been working tirelessly on finishing his basement so that his significant other and her son can move in before school starts in the fall. Money has already been tight because of all the expenses that come with finishing the basement, and now losing work and having medical costs are only going to make things harder. I am hoping we can help raise money to not only help with his medical bills but also help him pay his mortgage and other bills and expenses during this trying time.

Mike will also need help getting the house finished and things moved around for his family's move-in, so I'm hoping friends can help support him in that way too.
