Help Her Breathe
Donation protected
Picture yourself at 49, in a great relationship, having a rewarding job being a nurse, one daughter in college, one in high school and one in middle school, living your whole life with Lupus and not letting it get you down. You play softball, volleyball, you help your daughters with their sports activities, you’re very active and you enjoy life to its fullest. Now imagine yourself waking up one morning having a hard time breathing, you're coughing, not being able to do something as natural as breathing in the air without feeling like you're suffocating. After numerous visits to the doctor, you find out that you have Pulmonary Fibrosis, an incurable lung disease that turns the inside of your lungs into scar tissue and takes away your ability to do every day normal activities, let alone the things you love doing to stay active and the only cure for this is a double lung transplant. Now you’re struggling to just do every day normal things. Imagine your medical bills are continuing to come in and you have to give up your independence and move yourself and your children in with family just to make ends meet. This is what has happened to Dawn and she needs our help! Please help support this woman who would give the shirt off her back to help out anyone (she even shaved her head when a friend was going through Chemotherapy)
