Our hero

There are no words that I can  really say to express what we are going through our feelings are all over the place.

This is a story about a young war HERO.

Michael  was a kind hearted young man who would give you the shirt off his back to help out his fellow friend or stranger. Michael wanted to help his country stay free. So he went to fight in a war that would keep our freedoms alive.

Michael went to war with a good head on his shoulder. After the first tour we could see that he wasn't the same as when he left. The second time him and his best friend went Michael's second tour. When he cam back after watching his best friend get blown up and dieing in his arms. Michael wasn't the same at all. Michael was suffering. He was suffering from extreme PTSD. Michael was released from the service for mental health issues. He turned to our government to provide him with some sense of peace from the war now in his mind. They basically gave him a bag of pills and told him to go work it out. Michael reached out to get  some kind of counseling but was turned away with another  bag of pills. So now not only suffering from  PTSD, he now is fighting an addiction and the war in his mind. Michael tried again to get counseling to weed him off his medications. His mother also tried to  seek help for him,but was also turned away. We as parents were not educated on how to help,nor was any other family member. The medications started making him aggressive  and threatening and making him do things that Ihe normally would never do. Michael  needed  piece of mind. He discontinued communication with us he was so far gone. As a result  he  went to paradise to relieve his stress from a country  that  didn't  want to help a HERO who fought for their freedom. Michael was a strong man,but his heart was broken. Michael passed away from cardiac arrest April 24th 2022 in a place where he thought was safe. So this story is about a young  HERO who deserves  the honor and dignity of being layed to rest with his grandmother who truly loved him. Right now he is in another country in a freezer waiting for us to come get him. Our HERO Will  never be forgotten  always remembered as a true HERO.we love you and we miss you.
