A few days ago, Meghan and her family experienced every parent’s worst nightmare.

Sebastian fell out of his bedroom window, through the screen and onto their balcony, a fall of about 10–12 feet.

He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered he had a skull fracture and brain bleed. He was admitted for observation with a 6.2 mm brain bleed. That evening, his bleeding increased to 10 mm, and they performed an emergency craniotomy. We are so relieved to share that everything went great! The doctors said he’ll only need to stay in the hospital about a week. He now has a few screws and plates in his head — along with a pretty cool scar and haircut to match.

Through it all, Sebastian has shown incredible strength and spirit — he’s talking normally, moving his head, remembering everything, and even being his silly, smiling self while hooked up to monitors.

This morning, he’s already back to his smiling, silly self, cracking jokes and melting hearts like always. He’s still our same Sebastian… just with a little extra metal in him now.

Thank you all so much for the love, prayers, and positive thoughts — we’ve truly felt every bit of it. He still has a small road of recovery ahead, but we’re confident he’ll be back home and back to himself in no time.

Meghan is by his side around the clock, and like any parent, her focus is entirely on her son’s healing. We are asking for help with travel expenses, meals, and other unexpected costs while they’re in the hospital this week.
