Hi, my name is Jessica. I find it very difficult to ask for help, especially financial help but during my recent oil change I discovered that my transmission needed urgent repairs. I got an estimate from the shop that it would be about $2,317 plus tax. I started to panic, I had hoped and prayed it would be less and that even if it was more than I had saved, maybe I could take out a loan or a new credit card but this is more than I would be approved for in any case. My car is extrememely important in both mine and my moms lives. I use it to get to and from work (I'm a pet care provider) and I am a living assistant for my mom, so I help drive her to appointments and to get groceries, etc. I have been without a working vehicle before and can get around on public transit but it severely limits my working ability and schedule. Even if I had the funds to replace my car, I wouldn't want to, I've fallen in love with her. She's treated me so well since I got her and I just want to return the favor. I am desperate and hope that even if you can help spare a buck or two it'll help me reach my goal and get my baby fixed up and back in tip top shape. I know a lot of people out there are struggling themselves and dealing with their own life situations but I appreciate anything, even just a share.
