I am Mohannad Kamel Abdulhamid, living in Gaza, specifically in the north of the city. I study Information Technology at the Islamic University.

Before the war, we were safe in our homes, living a peaceful life, thinking about our future and aspirations. And we enjoyed love and solidarity among the members of our family.

Now, after six months of war and loss, we have lost our loved ones. My sister and her daughter, who was not even a year old, were killed, which was a tragedy that broke our hearts. Our home and our warm shelter, which was a nurturing place for this family, was destroyed. It was destroyed with all its memories, stories, and joys.

Then came more tragedies with the death of my beloved and my father, who was suffering from blood cancer and couldn't be treated due to the blockade and lack of medication.

Now, we are tired, exhausted, hungry, homeless, living in schools, and the situation is closing in on us from all sides. I have hope in you and in the kind-hearted people. I urge you to be generous and help us rebuild our dreams, our homes, complete our education, secure our future, and provide assistance to us and those in need.
