The Drew Women’s Basketball team is raising funds to support the mother of our teammate, Miabella. Barbara is also a loving mom to three sons; Ace’a, Orlando, and Justice. She has bravely battled breast cancer twice and has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her lungs.

Miabella is a full-time student-athlete at Drew University, majoring in Finance, and is currently away from her mom, who lives in Connecticut, while she attends school in New Jersey.

Barbara is not just any mom, she is our team mom, known for organizing post-game meals and pre-game snacks and consistently shows up for the girls with love and support. Now, it’s our turn to support her and her family just as she has done so selflessly for our community.
