Help bring Shawn home

I want to say thank you to everyone who shared posted and donated to help us bring my brother home. It means the world to the family all your love and support. It shows how much Shawn has touched so many peoples lives. His memory will live on in each and everyone one of us. We want to let everyone know Services will be private but the family invites all to join them to celebrate Shawn's life at Pleasant Park Yacht Club, 562 Pleasant St., Winthrop, on November 2, 2024 - 11am-3pm. Light food and refreshments will be available.

As I sit here trying to find the words I am overcome with emotion. My brother Shawn passed away unexpectedly this past week. After a recent and seemingly routine surgery, while living in Florida, he began to have complications which he was unable to overcome. His wife and kids are in need of some assistance to get his remains prepared and transported back to Massachusetts. His son and the majority of his immediate family live in Massachusetts and would like to grieve and celebrate his life properly… the way he deserves. As most know, it's very overwhelming to lose a loved one, and to coordinate services, and it's unfortunately further amplified by the burden of current times exorbitant costs. As difficult as it is to ask for help, we have no other choice but to express this need. Any generosity available, of any amount, is so much appreciated and means the world to my family and I.
