Hi, we are setting up this fundraiser on behalf of a close friend — a devoted single mum in her early 30s who was recently diagnosed with incurable cancer. She is the sole carer for her young daughter, and this devastating diagnosis has turned their world upside down.

She’s someone who had so many dreams for the future — for herself, and especially for her child. Like many young parents, she never imagined facing something like this so early in life. She had no life insurance and, understandably, wasn’t financially prepared for a situation this sudden and life-changing.

Now, she’s doing everything she can to fight for more time — and to leave behind security for the person she loves most.

Why We’re Asking for Help ️

There are medical treatments not available through the NHS that could help extend her time. While they aren’t a cure, they may allow her to manage the illness and remain present in her child’s life for as long as possible.

At the same time, she’s doing everything she can to plan ahead with strength and love. As a sole carer, she carries the full responsibility of ensuring her daughter is safe and cared for. The family home still has a mortgage, and clearing it would offer long-term security during a deeply uncertain time.

This fundraiser is to help relieve the financial burden of ongoing care, medical treatments, daily expenses, and — most importantly — to give her daughter a safe and stable future.

Accessing life-extending treatment not available on the NHS

Paying off the mortgage so her daughter can stay in their home

Covering legal and care arrangements to protect her daughter’s future
