Hi, my name is Ysabella!! Studying abroad has been a dream of mine since wanting to learn more about culture and language on a deeper level. Throughout my high school career I’ve taken two years of spanish and plan on continuing to do so. The opportunity for me to study abroad with CIEE was given to me, and after doing more research and discussions with teachers and family, CIEE was the best fit for me as they offer High School study abroad programs during the summer. The fundraising would help cover flight expenses, funding in Spain, program/some tuition fees, and my passport. This would allow me learn spanish on a deeper level, push myself out of my comfort zone, and learn more about the spanish culture, along with that partaking in the trip would help me receive college credits and an experience that will never be forgotten.
