Hi friends and family. It is a pleasure to announce that I have been nominated to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference, to be held this Summer in Washington, D.C. I was nominated by my teacher, Mr. Feldmann, who recognizes me as a student who has achieved academic excellence and possesses strong leadership potential. While attending the JrNYLC, I will join Middle School students from around the country for an educational experience of a lifetime. Washington D.C. will be my classroom. I will have the opportunity to visit the National Museum of American HIstory, the Lincoln Memorial, Mount Vernon (home of George Washington) and several other memorials. While I am there, I will be listening to the keynote speaker Anthony Robles and participating in many other leadership activities. During the conference, I will also be creating an action-oriented organization to create positive change at my school and in my community. I am hoping you all can help support me in my goal of attending this conference by contributing to this fundraiser.
