Help Save Sam
Donation protected

Yesterday, my five-year-old dog, Samantha, was attacked by my other three dogs. I don't know why they went after her, but I was only able to stop them by physically throwing myself on her in order to protect her. Even so, she sustained multiple injuries, including open wounds to her neck and thigh.
She was rushed to the vet, where they did x-rays and started draining her wounds. She had air trapped in her chest cavity, which made it difficult for her to breathe properly. After preliminary care, she was transferred to an emergency vet clinic for overnight care.
Today, they're going to be performing surgery. The biggest risk right now is the chance of her going septic due to bacteria finding its way into her open wounds. In order for her to have the best chance to survive, the surgery is going to cost at least $1,500 to $2,000.
This is part of what the funds will be used for. The other part is the cost of her stay at the vet clinic. Last night's visit was $750, and the vet said that Sam will most likely be with them for at least five days. I want to do whatever is best for my dog so that she can make a full recovery.

Since Sam's surgery is happening today, I need these funds as soon as possible. Sam is my baby. She's cuddly, affectionate, and she loves to run. I would hate for her to lose functionality in her leg because of this. I want her to make a full recovery so she can go back to running and chasing balls in the backyard.
If you have any money to spare, I would be eternally grateful for the help. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to pay for the vet care that Sam needs. Thank you so much for reading this, and even if all you can do is share Sam's story, that will be an immense help.
Thank you so much.
