Help Justin's family

As most of you know by now, Justin and Jax were in an accident Monday. By the grace of God Jax only had a few scrapes, bruises and a concussion. He is doing very well. I'm also sure by now most know Justin didn't get as lucky. We have tried to keep information at a minimum for the sake of our kids until we were able to see them and spend some time explaining things to them.

Justin broke his spine, and had surgery to stabilize it Tuesday. A long 5 hour wait.. but he did well.

I will forever wish that was the end of this whole ordeal but unfortunately we are just getting started.

At this time Justin is paralyzed from the waist down. The doctors say the probability of him walking again is low. But low isn't a no and I refuse to accept that's it. He will more than likely be in the icu for another week at least. We are looking at a couple rehabilitation places for him to go. Once we decide on the right one he will be there for upwards to 3 months. During that time we will be transitioning our house so that when he does come home everything will be accessible to him.

This is not at all the outcome we thought we would have but it's what we've got. It's going to be a long, potentially permanent process. We won't give up hope. We will keep praying for changes. And we will do what ever it takes to help heal Justin and make things as easy for him as possible.

Miracles happen everyday and I can only thank God that I still have Justin and Jax here.
