We are pregnant with boy and girl fraternal twins. Our little girl Genevieve is doing well, however our little boy Benjamin has been diagnosed with a serious brain and heart condition, likely related to a Trisomy 13 chromosomal disorder. While the medical community generally has little hope for children with Benjamin’s findings, we are choosing to trust God and support his life now and until a proper evaluation of him is possible at birth to confirm in utero findings. We believe his life is precious regardless of his condition or how many days we will have to share with him. We have created this GoFundMe to help with some of the additional and unforeseen expenses related to this challenging pregnancy. We are still in the process of trying to evaluate the best medical facility where all of us will receive skilled and compassionate care. This may involve us delivering a distance from home or possibly needing to transfer elsewhere after birth.
